An extensive two-month journey around the Land Down Under has been cancelled following the tragic passing of an older woman who was abandoned by the vessel on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been walking on the remote island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The liner sailed away leaving her and came back after some time after the crew discovered the woman was unaccounted for.

A major hunt discovered her person the next day.
